Jeff & Shavonna

Jeff and Shavonna Shafer are the Praise and Worship Leaders of MYC (along with their son, Maddox).  Jeff and Shavonna have a gift and passion to lead people into the presence of God.  Praise and worship is critical to the atmosphere of any service, and the Shafer’s have put together a team of young people.  They lead these teens by example and have committed their lives to that mission.  It’s said that talent and passion speaks to other talents and passions.  The Shafer’s have caused the atmosphere of MYC to become passionate, but also have drawn other gifts out of the young people.  Since 2009, the members of the MYC Praise and Worship Team have grown from 4 to now over 15.  Mentoring singers and musicians to be the leaders of this generation is a call that they have on their hearts.
